Event Notifier
Overview
The Event Notifier feature enables Chat360 to automatically send WhatsApp templates when specific events occur in external systems. By configuring a webhook, you can seamlessly integrate third-party platforms with Chat360 to push data and trigger template messages without manual intervention.
-
A. Setting Up the Event Notifier
- Go to Settings → Webhook → Event Notifier tab in the Chat360 Admin settings.
- Click Create Webhook.
- Webhook Name: Enter a descriptive name (e.g., “OrderUpdates”).
- URL: Copy the auto-generated webhook endpoint—this is where your third-party system will POST data.
- Archived Day: Specify after how many days the related chat should auto-archive.
- Add Variable: Click Add Variable for each data field you expect from the external system (e.g., order_id, customer_number, status).
- In your external system, configure the webhook URL you copied.
